Don will be cover a wide range of habitat improvements for your farm. From designing food plots for hunt-ability, to where to hang your stands for optimum ingress and egress without disturbing those big bucks that call your farm home.
Don is well respected in the whitetail industry. His hard-hitting and informative articles have appeared in more than 15 different magazine titles and his book, Hunting Trophy Whitetails in the Real World is in its second printing.
- Don is experienced. He has planted literally millions of trees and shrubs in the creation of thousands of acres of quality wildlife habitat. He has also planted hundreds of acres of native grasses and in fact developed a native grass blend especially for whitetail bedding cover and is also co-founder of a successful wildlife foodplot seed company.
- Dons has a proven track record. He consistently kills some of the biggest bucks in his hunting area. Many of these bucks come from properties where Don has worked to improve the habitat and set up his success.
We will also have Jason Sumners, MDC Resource Scientist, and the MDC Private Lands Services employees on site to offer suggestions, give contact information and to set on our Q&A panel that will be available after the Don's presentation.
Please register early due to the expected sell out of this event. The room will only hold 300 so contact us now!
Thanks for the continued support of your Gateway Branch of the QDMA!!
