We had our 2nd annual banquet on September 21 at the Andre’s West facility in Fenton. There were about 150 in attendance and lots of fun, food, and prizes were strewn throughout the banquet hall. Eleven guns and one bow were given away and there were many great items on the silent auction also….including great seats to the Blues and Cards. The live auction had a Pike county deer hunt, a pheasant hunt, artwork, and hunting gear. We would like to thank Alan Cleary of Estate Auction Pros for a wonderful job on the auction.
We increased our sponsors to four this year, so a great big THANK YOU goes out to Cliff’s Towing, Timberline Food plots and Feeders, Buckspy Technologies, and Redneck Ringtones. Thanks for your help in putting on this event!
We also had Chris Pevey and Dennis Campbell at our event. Chris is our Heartland Regional Director and Dennis, the East Coast RD, flew in from West Virginia to help out with our event. Both of these guys deserve a great big back slap for their dedication to the QDMA and for helping us to put on another great banquet.
I would like to thank our committee members who worked on the banquet and made it run sooooo smooth. Thank you to Kevin, Faron, Matt and Ann(who flew in from Hawaii), John, and last but not least Tom…without all you guys helping, it would not be such a great event.
There are so many things that we have to cover during the banquet that we don’t often deliver all the messages that we have so I want to cover a bunch of upcoming events and changes that are going to happen in our branch. Look for more info to follow.
Thank you to all who came to our banquet and we hope that you will all be returning for our banquet next year….please set aside a Saturday in August for our banquet next year!
